Climbing Walls is the result of a collaboration between holistic practitioner, Chris Johns, and performers April Nunes, Antje Diedrich and Amanda Price.
The piece emerges from Chris' journal documenting his treatment of a woman diagnosed with breast cancer. The reflective narrative follows her through her mastectomy, her radiotherapy, and her recovery. Using text, dance, and performance Climbing Walls charts the journey of the patient and healer over the course of a year.
